Encompass develops and delivers targeted individual and group training to meet the specific learning and development needs of workers, teams, organisations or inter-agency networks. Cross-sector training is a speciality.
We firmly believe that training must go beyond theory to examine how workers will apply learnings in their own practice with families, children, young people and individual clients.
We take an innovative, experiential approach that builds on each participant’s level of expertise, and challenges them to examine their current practice and extend their repertoire of knowledge and skills. All workshops are highly interactive, allowing participants, irrespective of their current level of experience, to build on their existing knowledge.
All workshops cater for workers in both government agencies and Indigenous and mainstream non-government organisations. In fact, we specialise in cross-sector networking and sharing of knowledge.
We regularly develop and deliver small group and workplace-based training for child protection workers, family support workers, youth workers, and community support workers – in fact anyone working with families, children and young people.
